“A man would have better luck trying to reclaim all the feathers of a pillowcase, torn apart in a windstorm, than to undo a single lie told about him.” – Jacob.

The following facts being presented are dedicated not to defend Frank Dux character, as it is not in need of defending. But rather, are done in order to expose those Machiavellian deceivers for what they really are by turning their own force and lies against themselves.  In keeping with “the way” of the warrior arts and presented in the following manner:

Did You Know That?

The hard facts that surround the Dux controversy, that you don’t hear about but you need to know.

Controversy Preface and Mission Statement:

Illustrating why we must all actively do our part to be informed and to defend the truth. As one only need to look to Hitler’s Third Reich or other leagues of tyranny which had come to power and manifested horrible atrocities, unopposed. Attributed to the lies spun to create a controversy, necessary to silence the targeted voices of caution and reason, the witnesses to unspeakable crimes, like Frank Dux.

SEPERATING FACT from FICTION:

(Free from any commentary or spin, these are the hard facts that lay a foundation of malice and intent to libel and slander Frank Dux, in order to promote a secret agenda.
Exposing the “SPIN DOCTORS” by their own lies, their own fabrications of evidence and their deliberate ratifying the frauds and false allegations of others. ALL THAT ARE SELF EVIDENT AS NOT BEING TRUE, that is carried out with a methodology that is a text book example, described as “Perception Management” in government Psychological Warfare Operations, manuals.).

 Introduction: Controversy

·       How does one defend oneself from a faceless enemy that has the power capable of stopping the airing of the ABC Primetime show or network news story?

This can only happen in the movies or another country, you say… It happened to Frank Dux, to silence his voice and book, entitled: The Secret Man, HarperCollins.

·       How does one defend oneself from a faceless enemy that has the ability to operate under the color of authority, as a representative of the US Department of Justice, who is tarnishing a person’s image and reputation just by falsely suggesting one had committed a crime?

This can only happen in the movies or another country, you say… It happened to Frank Dux, to silence his voice and book, entitled: The Secret Man, HarperCollins.

·       How does one defend oneself from a faceless enemy that has the willingness to resort to coercing people into staying silent or manufacturing evidence and/or presenting false testimony against one?

This can only happen in the movies or another country, you say… It happened to Frank Dux, to silence his voice and book, entitled: The Secret Man, HarperCollins.

·       How is it possible that Frank Dux
military service record book contains forged signatures and now contradicts his prior issued, original, DD214, duty discharge orders?

·       How is it possible that a government controlled document is forged to now assert, as quoted by his enemies, that Frank Dux served his country as an innocuous
“Wireman,” contradicting his original discharge orders and military service record book, which states he is an “Intelligence Specialist.”

·       How is it possible that Frank Dux military record book is absent the intelligence and military schools he attended? As well as, those commendations, presented for gallantry or were they merely presented to him on a ruse with the clear intent of being denied later, and thereby, discrediting him, should he one day become a threat?

·       Or did it all happen by chance, with Dux military service record book filed and lost amongst the thousands of other secret documents that were shredded in the shadow of Iran Contra Congressional hearings and criminal prosecution, revealing the abuse of power and perjury?

·
As fiction is never in need of denial and certainly not by an institution used to being the target of criticism, like the CIA, then why does the CIA feel compelled to issue any kind of official denial of Frank Dux book, The Secret Man, HarperCollins?

Principally, as thousands of books have been written every year accusing the CIA and government officials of cover-ups, malfeasance and high crimes but none get neither a denial nor an affirmation?

·       What is the ingredient that separates his book out from all the others?

·       Is it pure coincidence, that a multitude of allegations generating the controversy surrounding Frank Dux all lead back to and originate from or through a single source - CIA intelligence community “cut outs?”

·       As revealed by their own admissions that were made under penalty of perjury, is it just another coincidence, that these same CIA affiliates are not field agents but former military Psychological Warfare experts, “Spin Doctors.” Formally trained in what the US Army identifies as “Perception Management?”

·       And, is it another coincidence, that when the US intelligence community is cited by Congress, as being plagued by the disreputable conduct of those acting under the color of authority, this time period corresponds, exactly, to the same time period in which Frank Dux spent in his nation’s covert service?

·       Is it another coincidence again, that Congressional investigation, should yield atrocities, perjured testimony and the indiscriminate shredding of government documents being committed on the part of those that the Dux book illuminates, several of whom, are linked to those who fabricated the controversy surrounding, Frank Dux?

·       Just another coincidence, then again, as it is that these individuals do not only ascribe to racism and fascism, but are a personal friend of war criminals and death squad commanders, that Frank Dux had spent his covert career in opposition of, hunting th
em?

“The difference between the ordinary and extraordinary, specifically, regarding a warrior’s life, is that one’s existence isn’t defined by the impressive quality of one’s deeds, nor by victory or defeat. But instead, by the level of risk involved in one’s confronting the lack of quality in the character of one’s enemy or friend.” -  Frank Dux

“Did You Know That?”

·       It is a matter of documented fact, that Mr. Dux’ book: The Secret Man by Harper Collins, 1996, is so controversial that upon its release it prompted a CIA finding. Accompanied by the agency’s issuance of a seemingly immediate three-page denial letter, featured in Inside Edition, a syndicated news magazine show. One that was issued by the CIA before it had even had the opportunity to have begun to investigate or collect all the facts, necessary for making a finding and thereupon, issuing any official statement.

·       The CIA hadn’t issued a formal denial of this magnitude since it’s alleged involvement in the Watergate scandal (their lie exposed by the Washington Post) or its formal denial of Eugene Huasenfus. Denying that Hausenfus, in 1987, was one of its operatives or that he was ever affiliated, as well.  Particularly, with his being shot down in Nicaragua in a cargo plane loaded with military assault weapons and explosives.

·       The CIA lies and denials about Hausenfus, once unraveled, unpredictably, led to unmasking the CIA’s lack of veracity and its pattern of behavior to deny and to conceal, whenever caught engaging in illegal activities. As in Dux and Hausenfus case, the agency’s illegal drugs for arms activities and their willful and intentional violation of the Congressional Boland and Logan amendments. Producing the Iran-Contra Congressional findings.

·       As documented under penalty of perjury,
Frank Dux is identified as a covert operative with being a potential key Iran Contra witness, in 1988, to the aforementioned CIA abuses and its illegal activities. Identified by non-other than Iran-Contra paymaster, Lt. Commander, Alexander Martin, USN.  A nationally renowned source relied upon in the Iran Contra Congressional investigation. [Declaration Iran-Contra paymaster, Lt. Commander, Alexander Martin, USN (ret)]

·       The Los Angeles Times article,
“Master Ninja Master Fake?” May 1988, by John Johnson, due to the article’s prejudicial venomous tone, it’s citing self evident fabricated evidence and obvious tainted testimony, is viewed by Iran Contra authorities as done for the single purpose of having carried out a pre-emptive strike to discredit Frank Dux. Fearful, he should be summoned to give testimony, incriminating NSC staff, Lt. Col. Oliver North’s testimony and/or implicate all those others involved or who could be and some of whom were later charged with having committed perjury before Congress.

·       Reinforcing the belief that a CIA sponsored disinformation campaign is launched against Dux is based upon the fact that this being done by the Los Angeles Times, that several watchdog groups and former CIA operatives, like Chip Tatum, allege as being stacked with CIA spin doctors :

“. The CIA’s newest spin doctors, employed by the LA Times, have successfully posted an eight column article in every major newspaper across the nation. The headline reads, “Evidence Thin on CIA —Contra Pipeline.” In an attempt to downplay the CIA’s involvement they have reported that convicted Nicaraguan drug trafficker Norvin Menesus donated “no more than $50,000 of his street sales to the Contras.” The spin doctors continued their “spin” with testimony that Menesus was selling 30-40 kilos a week, inferring that $50,000 is a minuscule amount compared to the millions in sales that Menesus realized. Good try boys—but here’s the facts. If  Menesus was selling 40 kilos of cocaine a week, then he was buying 40 kilos per week. Who was supplying the product at $15,000-$20,000 per kilo? If my math is correct, 40 kilos at $15,000 is $600,000 — that equates to an income of $2.4 million per month for the entity which supplied Menesus with cocaine. Who was this entity? During a four month period in 1985, as a CIA operative under the direct control of Oliver North, I delivered over two tons of cocaine to various airfields in Honduras. The cocaine was hidden in large coolers marked “medical supplies.” Over a two day period, I delivered ten coolers (approximately 110 kilos per cooler) to San Lorenzo, Honduras. On April 10th, 1985 Barry Seal met me at San Lorenzo to pick up six of the coolers. When I questioned him concerning the destination of the cocaine it was quite different from the explanation that Col. Ollie North gave me when I confronted him about the cocaine. According to North, Felix Rodriguez, and Don Gregg, the cocaine was being produced by the Nicaraguans to support their war against the Contras. But the Contras were successful in overrunning the Nicaraguan manufacturing facilities. The cocaine which I was delivering to various airports throughout Honduras, according to North, Rodriguez, and Gregg, were destined to the world courts as evidence against the illegal activities of the Ortega led Nicaraguan government. But according to Seal, the cocaine was being produced by the Contras at the direction of Oliver North and members of the Medellin cartel. My many flights into Contra camps supported Seal’s allegations. Seal further described the “Enterprise” and named involved top officials in the CIA, DEA, US politicians, and named ranking members of five foreign governments (Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, Israel, Panama). Additional names were associated with the state governments of Louisiana, Colorado, Arkansas, Ohio, Florida and Texas. I documented this information on the back of a flight plan, which I filed with base operations in Palmerola, Honduras, and on the back of a mission sheet also filed with base operations in Palmerola, Honduras (a copy of which can be found in “The Tatum Chronicles”) on 10 April, 1985. Barry Seal was tasked by North to deliver the cocaine, which I had delivered to him that day, and additional stores of cocaine, which were being held a Ilapongo Air Base, El Salvador, to Southern California.  With the recent exposure of the CIA's involvement in drug trafficking as reported by the San Jose Mercury News, the article by the Company's new spin doctors was written at an opportune time.” (66)

·       Before the venomous editorial,
“Master Ninja Master Fake?” Los Angeles Times, May 1988, ever went to print, as documented in his book, The Secret Man, HarperCollins, 1996, Frank Dux had gone to the editorial offices of the Los Angeles Times accompanied by his attorney, Michael Lucero.

·       Frank Dux and his attorney, Michael Lucero, are armed with video taped copies of 16mm & 8mm film Kumite footage documenting Dux world championship status in the Kumite, photographs, and other substantiated evidence.

·       Dux exposes a
self-evident fabricated receipt for a trophy that John Johnson would, later, use to deliberately mislead readers as being crucial evidence. Alleging that this document proves Frank Dux commissioned and purchased his trophy from a local trophy shop.

·       The situation is soon made painfully clear to Dux and his legal counsel when the editor refuses to allow Dux to continue to further shame John Johnson by the sudden withholding of their evidence, namely Dux military service and medical records.

·       Due to the Los Angeles Times editor not allowing Frank Dux to continue to expose the fabrications of evidence that John Johnson intended to be used against Dux, regardless, the Los Angeles Times was able to invoke
Times vs. Sullivan. The case law determining that a publication only has to lend the appearance of due diligence, in order to side-step slander and libel.

·       As documented in his book
The Secret Man (pgs. 66, 67), The Los Angeles Times editor takes Frank Dux aside where he expressed that he had no choice but to run the Johnson article, and whispers, “North”.  Confiding a name that the editor alleges Dux must accept as the reason why he is about to be targeted for discreditation. Reaffirmed by Johnson’s demeanor and the article’s self evident propaganda styled one-sided reporting, citing fabricated evidence, attributing comments made to Dux and others that never took place, etc.

·       Psy-ops experts who have dissected The Los Angeles Times article,
“Master Ninja Master Fake?” May 1988, by John Johnson, quantify it’s style, exaggeration of facts, taking statements out of context, etc. is a text book example of psy-op “perception management - disinformation campaigns” of the past and present.

·       The alternate fact is that the editor could be lying to Dux about “North” and his supporters forcing him to run what is obviously “a hatchet job.” In that by not running the John Johnson story as an expose piece, he would deny his paper the opportunity to draw attention and increase sales, through the sensationalism of a scandal. The secret to the early fortune acquired by the publishing family of Randolph Hearst.  Especially believable with the public being bombarded with ads and word of mouth to see the film based on Frank Dux life, Bloodsport, just released at the time.  Certainly, the editor is accountable for Johnson’s time and expense in investigating the story, hardly justified by a fluffy feel good article.

·       While one can easily discern by the self-evident misrepresentation of the truth, as carried out by John Johnson, his and the newspaper’s motives still remain unknown.

·       The allegation by the editor, that John Johnson’s intent and malice was due to outside influences protecting Iran Contra personality, Lt. Colonel Oliver North, raises a question.  In that how could the editor be made aware of the fact that Frank Dux testimony if subpoenaed could assist in contradicting North’s prior testimony made before Congress? A felony conviction for North, who is eventually found out and prosecuted and convicted.  As Dux maintained his silence, regarding his specific covert activities, at this time.

·       In an Oct 5,1986 interview on "60 Minutes," General John Singlaub acknowledged that he and Lt. Col. Oliver North worked together to establish the Nicaraguan contra supply network.

 ·       The USCWF and Soldier of Fortune magazine established a private training academy for Salvadoran police forces and Nicaraguan contras. Located in Boulder, Colorado, the Institute for Regional and International Studies (IRIS) was headed by Alexander McColl, the military affairs editor of Soldier of Fortune magazine  (11)

·       Colonel Robert K. Brown who is the owner publisher of Soldier of Fortune magazine and a former subordinate of Singlaub in Vietnam, invested $500,000 in Freedom Marine. In December 1985 Freedom Marine sold three "stealth boats" to USCWF for $125,000. The hulls of the boats had been reinforced for machine gun mounts. In Honduras the coastal re-supply system for rebels inside Nicaragua utilized three "stealth boats. "(7) Bruce Jones, former CIA liaison to the contras in Costa Rica, worked for USCWF in Tucson. (11)

·       The Institute for Regional and International Studies (IRIS) enabled General John Singlaub, Colonel Robert K. Brown and Colonel Alexander McColl to recruit for the Contras and Salvadorian Police mercenary’s “freedom fighters.”  As exposed in the Dux book most of these “freedom fighters” turn out to be opportunists affiliated with hate groups - the Ku Klux Clan, Neo-Nazi and fascist organizations, like WACL (which is headed by Singlaub).

·       These IRIS recruited mercenaries, fit the profile of the former Phoenix Operator Dux identifies in his book, as Fish; which Frank Dux pursued and “dispatched to justice.”  Ending the mercenary’s war crimes and tenure as a contract agent for Latin American death squads, in late 1987. In all likelihood, “Fish” was well known to Colonel Robert Brown, Colonel Alexander McColl and General John Singlaub.

·       Frank Dux is identified by former CIA Operator Gene “Chip” Tatum as being “handled” by William Casey through one of three Operation Sub Groups, which Congressional Investigation revealed, were being covertly run out of the White House, under auspices of then Vice-President Bush and Director of Central Intelligence, William Casey.  There, NSC staff and contract agent activities and operations escaped CIA and Congressional oversight, for the purposes of maintaining operational integrity and plausible deniability, regarding “black ops.”
[Interview former CIA Operative, Gene Tatum & Iran Contra Paymaster, Lt. Commander, Alexander Martin, USN (ret), 1996]

·       Identified by various journalists as spearheading the vanguard regarding Iran Contra is
GENERAL JOHN SINGLAUB (Ret.) a CIA and DOD specialist in terrorism, subversion, guerilla warfare, and psy-ops (psychological operations - perception management/disinformation).

·       Former CIA officer, Thomas Spencer ESQ., in Miami, General Singlaub’s attorney is made infamous in its defending Iran Contra CIA black ops personalities and CIA cut outs. Through Thomas Spencer, Arizona resident, General, John Singlaub threatens costly litigation in his attempt to intimidate Dux’s publisher HarperCollins in having the Frank Dux book quashed.  Singlaub demanding that The Secret Man be pulled immediately from bookstore shelves.
[Spencer/HarperCollins/Frankel Legal Correspondence].

·       Singlaub having commanded SOG (Studies and Observation Group) is identified by Frank Dux as conducting Operation Phoenix (the assassination of 21,000 to 40,000 civilians) for which he denies and used as the basis of his threatening litigation, if the Dux book was not silenced. In spite of the fact that Singlaub’s involvement in Operation Phoenix is well publicized and documented, being identified by
numerous journalistic sources, Congress’s Karre Report and a Congressional Medal of Honor, recipient, Lt. Col. Herbert. Not overlooking Phoenix architects, THEODORE SHACKLEY and WILLIAM COLBY with Singlaub being identified by them as having worked with them in Vietnam.

THEODORE SHACKLEY headed the Miami CIA station during Mongoose. He then transferred to Vietnam, where he was part of the Phoenix Project as well as the CIA's Laotian heroin ring. In 1973 he served under HELMS in Iran, where he helped set up and train SAVAK. Fired by President Carter, in 1976, coincidentally, like Singlaub, he "went private", later playing central roles in the October Surprise, Iran-Contra, and CIA/Medellin cocaine smuggling.

WILLIAM COLBY was a lifelong spook who started in the OSS, working with ANGLETON in Italy (including the Rat Lines). In Southeast Asia, he ran the Phoenix Project, and laundered countless millions in Laotian heroin profits through the Nugan-Hand Bank.  Replacing RICHARD HELMS as DCI in 1973, he plotted the Australian coup, ran the bloody Angola ops, and ran damage control during the Church & Pike hearings. Later involved in BCCI and many other CIA banking scandals. Died surprisingly, under peculiar circumstances, within one week of the release of Frank Dux’s book, in 1996. It was ruled he'd gone on a midnight canoe ride, had "a stroke or a heart attack" and then fell in the water and drowned. This was possible because he was uncharacteristically without his lifejacket, which never was found. His body was fished from the river after a nearly weeklong search only some 100 yards from where his canoe had been found. He was widely known first as the "Grey Man", then as he aged the "Old Grey Man". In 1998, the matter of his death remains officially closed.

·       In 1976, General John Singlaub was relieved of duty and forced to retire for his insubordination, by President Carter.  Throughout the 1980’s he is identified by political watchdog groups as “having served as chairman of the World Anti-Communist League, a global network of Nazis, fascists, and right-wing spooks devoted to mass slaughter financed through drug dealing.”
[GroupWatch: Profiles of U. S. Private Organizations and Churches, was compiled by the Interhemispheric Resource Center, Box 4506, Albuquerque, NM 87196. < http://www.irc-online.org/ > ]

·       Sayid Khybar, author of The Afghan Contra Lobby, considers WACL “a major factor in the preservation and power of the political rightwing.”  He wrote in 1988 that "it (WACL) is a coalition of three principal groups: Asian gangsters backed up by the remnants of the Japanese arm of the Axis and the Korean Central Intelligance Agency, former West German Nazis and their former East European collaborators, and elements from the Western intelligence community who were anxious to reorganize the fanatical refuse salvaged from the Hitler coalition for a new anti-Communistcrusade." Through WACL’s global network, Singlaub became a key player in the Iran-Contra "private" pipeline, deliberately skirting Congressional intelligence oversight in meeting with Latin American leaders and generals” as an official emissary of the CIA and, of course, his own “private enterprise”.

·       In “Full Mental Jacket,” the August 1996, issue of Soldier Of Fortune magazine, Colonel Alexander McColl duplicates John Johnson’s venomous and prejudicial tone and presents much of the same self-evident fabricated evidence, in spite of the fact that these fabrications are exposed as manufactured in
The Secret Man (pg 66). Colonel Alexander McColl slanders and libels Frank Dux to the point of even representing that Frank Dux is psychologically unfit, by misquoting from allegedly Frank Dux military medical records, obtained through the FOIA.

·       Examination of Frank Dux military medical records proves no evidence exists to support the representations being attributed to it, by Colonel Alexander McColl.
Dux vs. Robert Brown, Alexander McColl, Larry Baily and Soldier Of Fortune Magazine, Case No: BC198883, Superior Court Of California, Los Angeles County,

·       The author of the Soldier of Fortune magazine article “Stolen Valor,” Larry Bailey, declared under penalty of perjury in
his declaration and interrogatories, as well as in an interview with Dux attorney, Steven Kramer, that he had found no substantiated basis by which to include Frank Dux in his article. As it was on Vietnam veteran impersonators. John Johnson and B.G. Burkett and Gleena Whitley the authors of Stolen Valor: War Stories And Other Lies, the book he was reviewing, found their allegations were unfounded. Placing Frank Dux in the Soldier Of Fortune magazine article “Stolen Valor” was done by Colonel Robert K. Brown, who was made fully aware of author Larry Bailey’s findings.

·       The defamation of character being brought to bare against him and his book, The Secret Man, HarperCollins, 1996, resulted in Frank Dux having filed the civil suit
Dux vs. Robert Brown, Alexander McColl, Larry Baily and Soldier Of Fortune Magazine, Case No: BC198883, Superior Court Of California, Los Angeles County.

·       In Dux vs. Robert Brown and Soldier of Fortune magazine, Colonel, Robert K. Brown and Soldier Of Fortune magazine, in their arguments, solely rely upon other legal defenses than the truth as a defense.
[Dux vs. Robert Brown and Soldier Of Fortune Magazine, Case No: BC198883, Superior Court of California, Los Angeles County].

·       Colonel, Robert K. Brown and Soldier Of Fortune magazine argue, ergo, that they should have the right to say anything they want about Dux because, “Dux is a public figure” due to the film, Bloodsport.
[Dux vs. Robert Brown and Soldier Of Fortune Magazine, Case No: BC198883, Superior Court of California, Los Angeles County].

·       Admittedly, back peddling, Colonel, Robert K. Brown and Soldier Of Fortune magazine, in their arguments they represent that they “really didn’t mean what it was that they were saying about Dux in their magazine,” ergo, portraying him as being diagnosed as suffering from psychosis, in his military medical records. Principally, where no such evidence existed to support such an allegation.
[Dux vs. Robert Brown and Soldier Of Fortune Magazine, Case No: BC198883, Superior Court of California, Los Angeles County].

·       As their
declarations are made under penalty of perjury, it is revealed during Vietnam, Colonel Alexander McColl (Ret.) and Colonel Robert K. Brown (Ret) served directly under Singlaub’s command in SOG (made infamous for having assassinated 21,000 to 40,000 civilians). As well as establishing that all of them are trained in and had conducted disnformation propaganda/perception management, psychological operations.

·       CIA officials and their “cut outs”, like General John Singlaub, Colonel Alexander McColl (Ret.) and Colonel Robert K. Brown (Ret) are subject to suffer the consequences of any illegal actions or exposure of ills from the past and denied actions.  Especially, if they acted as an accomplice or accessory to war crimes or narcotics trafficking. Hence the catch phrase: “Confession is only good for the soul but denials are good for everything.”

·       Denied actions are unveiled, documented and corroborated by Frank Dux activities, supporting materials and testimonies, as elaborated upon in his book and in documentary video taped interviews with high ranking former Soviet GRU, KGB intelligence and, in 1996, then current day prominent military officials.

·       Corroborating Dux covert activities are video taped interviews with the Ukrainian Deputy Minister of Health/ Biological Warfare and the Commander of elite Anti-Terrorist Special Forces, who were in the 1980’s directly involved in a Top Secret mission with Frank Dux, dubbed “The Hunter”, as portrayed in his book, The Secret Man, HarperCollins,1996.

·       Corroborating the Minister of Health and the Commander of elite Anti-Terrorist Special Forces taped interviews is a
hand written letter provided by Major General, Anatoly Korneinko, in May 5, 1995.  The letter is authenticated and bares the official seal of Minister of Military Affairs, as well as a notarized military document authenticating the identity of the letter as being written by Major General, Anatoly Korneinko.

·       Displayed in the photo section of the Dux book. The Secret Man, HarperCollins, 1996 are the aforementioned original document’s, with their certified court translation which appears in the foreword.

·       Notably, the ABC Primetime news magazine show which was going to feature these aforementioned taped interviews as part of its segment on Frank Dux and his book, The Secret Man, dispelling any controversy, was circumvented from being aired to the public. Attributed to what the show’s producer, Michael Bicks, had described to Frank Dux and to his attorney, Michael Frankel Esq., as the result of “Outside influences well above and beyond the corporate level of ABC news.”  Reminiscent, of how the tobacco industry and government officials engaged in a cover-up made self evident in suppressing the CBS 60 Minutes magazine news show expose from which the 1999 film, The Insider, starring Al Pacino and Russell Crow, is based.

·       Reinforcing the Dux belief outside influences were hard at work to silence his voice, is the lack of cooperation and actions being made by his publisher, HarperCollins, discovered acting against their own interests by Linda Palmer, Warren Cowan & Associates. A celebrated public relations firm alarmed by HarperCollins refusing to cooperate with requests for book signings and publicity appearances, (e.g. ABC Primetime feature-segment interview on Dux).

·       Notable bookstore chain, Barne’s and Noble, thanks to and Frank Dux celebrity status, in 1996, according to Susan Cowan (no relation to Warren Cowan), the store manager, Barnes and Noble experienced its largest turnout for a book signing in the history of the west coast, key store.

·       HarperCollins knew Barnes and Noble’s future purchase orders of the Dux book would be based upon the book signing and its book sales in its key store, targeted by Barnes and Noble Corporate for predicting market trends and product performance.

·       According to Susan Cowan, the store manager, the publisher had inexplicably refused to ship books in spite of the anticipated large turnout. Ultimately, the incident resulted in breach of contract for which the immediate, reversion of rights are granted back to Mr. Dux.

·       Evidently, also with their sudden cancellation of the ABC Primetime segment dedicated to Frank Dux book, soon thereafter, via the FBI, ABC news passed along a cryptic message, one in which, it was indicated to Dux that his activities are to be considered still sensitive… to the National security. That would cause Frank Dux to voluntarily withdraw his book from the market, as other publishers stepped forward and wanted to put The Secret Man, immediately, back in print. Such as, Jim Riordan of Seven Locks Press.  Dux denying himself, considerable financial gain from lucrative royalties.

·       National security conscious, this prevented Dux from releasing his book in its paperback publication, telephonically, offered to him, in 1996, by Simon & Schuster, as well. Or his pursuing it, even years later.

·       Celebrated Hollywood film producer, Jerry Brucheimer lobbied Frank Dux for two years, as well as, other notable movie producers. All who repeatedly offered in excess of $500,000 USD plus profit sharing to Frank Dux for his story and book rights. Necessary for producing a lucrative film based upon Frank Dux legendary exploits in the black ops world.

·       In addition, Frank Dux turned away any other opportunity to gain financially from his notoriety caused by his book sales, such as the lucrative lecture tour circuit, had he chosen to lecture on intelligence affairs.

·       Today, the Dux book and audio tapes of The Secret Man are confined to being sold on the internet by book collectors, fetching anywhere between $60 to as high as, $300 USD, regardless of whether or not they are a pristine hardbound 1st edition.  Autograph copies had sold for as high as $1500 while still in print, in 1996. Proof that the book is still in demand and Dux could secure a book release with a major publisher.

·       Historical events prove the CIA can be a vindictive, self-serving federal agency. An agency reputed for its documented abuses of discrediting, harassing or intimidating anyone targeted as a perceived threat to exposing its secret autonomy, eliminating plausible deniability or who are in conflict with the given political agenda of the day.  Maintaining journalists and peace officers on their “of the books” payroll to facilitate this kind of behavior is documented by Frank Dux in his book and in the
Church Committee Congressional Investigative Findings, in 1975.

·       The attempted black mailing and intimidation of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, which is, ironically, responsible for protecting a citizen’s civil rights, is just one well-documented example of abuse of authority, pointed out by Dux in his book.

·       Where it was Frank Dux mission to hunt those working under the color of authority, Frank Dux has been targeted by rightwing extremists and war criminals, who’d have good reason to have feared him in the past, with their being guilty of high crimes and horrible atrocities.

·       As well as, those associates of rightwing extremists and war criminals acting in accordance to them that he “dispatched to justice.” Vendetta. Namely, white supremacists, Neo-Nazi’s, fascists and their affiliates, in WACL. Like El Salvador’s vile Esquadron de la MUERTE (murderous death squad) commanders, as in the case of death squad “godfather” Mario Sandoval Alarcon head of the WACL in Guatemala since 1972. A personal friend of General John Singlaub, Colonel Alexander McColl and Colonel Robert K. Brown, the most vocal and active detractors of Frank Dux.

·       Mario Sandoval Alarcon was the coordinator of La Mano Blanco, which oversaw the operations of many of the death squads in Central America.  Not overlooking the equally infamous sadistic torturer and death squad commander, Roberto D'Aubuission, Chairman of El Salvador’s fascist WACL chapter, Adolpho Cuellar whose atrocities Dux exposes in his book.

·       Chiefly militaristic WACL seemingly subscribes to the philosophy of cover and concealment.

 ·       Therefore, obviously, Dux and his book is a thorn in their side and a threat to WACL’s need to maintain a low profile in order to promote their hidden agenda and conceal their member’s identities and histories - a virtualrogues gallery.
[GroupWatch: Profiles of U. S. Private Organizations and Churches, was compiled by the Interhemispheric Resource Center, Box 4506, Albuquerque, NM 87196. < http://www.irc-online.org/ > ]

·       The World Anti-Communist League (WACL) does not print annual reports or publish other documents available to the public giving details about the organization and its membership. However, WACL does hold elaborate, by-invitation-only annual meetings at which the purpose of the organization is reconfirmed and long and short term planning is conducted. It is presumed, therefore, that those who attend the annual meetings play a principal role in setting the goals and planning the operations of WACL.

A number of significant people have attended WACL annual conferences from Latin America. These include:

·       Carlos Barbieri Filho of Brazil, reportedly an agent of the Taiwanese government and head of the Federacion de Entidades Democraticas de America Latina (FEDAL). (37)

·       Mario Sandoval Alarcon (the "Godfather") of the National Liberation Movement (MLN) of Guatemala;

·       Adolfo Calero of Nicaragua, a leader in the Nicaraguan Democratic Front (FDN) contra forces;

·       Roberto D'Aubuission of El Salvador, founder of the rightwing ARENA party and founder of the Salvadoran death squads;

·       Benito Guanes, former chief of Paraguayan military intelligence;

·       Raimundo Guerrero of Mexico, professor at the Autonomous University of Guadalajara and principal leader of the Tecos were other attendees. (11)

From the South African WACL chapter:

·       Ivor Benson, known for his racist and anti-semitic books, has attended. (37)

·       The "former ruling class" has been represented by Anastasio Somoza, former ruler of Nicaragua; (37)

·       Former president of the Philippines Ferdinand Marcos; (36)

·       Former president of South Vietnam Nguyen Van Thieu. (36)

European WACL chapters have included these participants at conferences:

·       St. C de Berkelaar of the Netherlands, former SS officer and president of Sint Martinsfonds, an organization of hundreds of former Dutch SS officers; (11)

·       Alfred Gielen from Goebbels' Propaganda Ministry who represented West Germany until the mid-1980s;(21)

·       Giorgio Almirante of Italy, an official in the Benito Mussolini government. (9)

The U. S. WACL delegation has included many people from anti-Soviet (often pro-fascist) groups from Eastern Europe. Among them have been:

·       Dr. Anton Bonifacic of Croatia, wanted in Yugoslavia for war crimes, and a member of the American chapter of the Croatian Liberation Movement, and

·       John Kosiak of Byelorussia, wanted in the U. S. S. R. for war crimes. Kosiak is now in the U.S. and is chairman of the Byelorussian Liberation Front. (11)

·       Others from the U. S. delegation were Anthony Bouscaren, William Starr, Lee Edwards, and Roger Peterson. Bouscaren, a professor at Le Moyne University has served on the board of the U. S. Council for World Freedom (USCWF). (9) William Starr of Tucson, AZ represented CAUSA, the political arm of the Unification Church. (9) Lee Edwards, founder of the first U.S. chapter of WACL, acted as a registered foreign agent for WACL until 1982. (11)

·       Roger Pearson an anthropologist and author of racial supremacy books, chairman of WACL from 1978 to 1980. (23)

·       Yaroslav Stetsko a Nazi collaborator. Stetsko chairman of the Anti-Bolshevic Bloc of Nations (ABN), briefly was the self-declared leader of the Ukraine. (11)

The Canadian WACL was represented at the conference by:

·       Patrick Walsh of the executive board. And supporter of

·       Chirila Ciuntu who remains a member of the Rumanian Iron Guard. A group notorious for its pogroms against the Jews. Ciuntu is very active in WACL in Canada. (11)

The Asian WACL chapters have sent numerous representatives. From Japan came:

·       Ryiochi Sasakawa, a member of the Diet in World War II who was classified as a war criminal by the U. S. and served two years in prison.

·       Takeshi Furuta, a representative of the Int’l Federation for Victory Over Communism, the original political organization of the Unification Church is another major Japanese WACL supporter. (11)

South Korean representatives have included:

·       Colonel Lee Byung Hee, member of the KCIA and minister-without-portfolio for President Park and General Lee Yung-Joon. The latter was a member of the Japanese army in World War II, Korean army chief of staff in 1949, minister of communications in 1955, and in 1986 was an adviser to the Assoc. of Veterans and a member of the State Affairs Advisory Council of South Korea.

·       General Honkon Lee, in 1986 a member of the State Affairs Advisory Council, a former army chief of staff and former ambassador to the Philippines and Great Britain, has also participated in WACL conferences.

·       Colonel Shin Chan, also a participant in WACL conferences, was a spokesman for the ministry of national defense in 1975, executive director of the Association for Promotion of War Industry in 1979, and the director of the KCIA in 1981.

·       General Yoo Hanksoung, The Director of the Korean Central Intelligence Agency (KCIA), in 1980. (11)

·       Edward Entero Chey of Cambodia, attended a WACL conference as a representative of Son Sann, a rebel organization fighting against the Cambodian government. Chey's expenses were paid by the government of Taiwan. (9)
·       Dr. Ku Cheng-kang of Taiwan is the honorary life chairman of WACL and was a high-level leader of the Nationalist Party when the group began in Taiwan. In 1986, he served as senior policy adviser to the president and was the president of the Republic of China's National Assembly. (11, 28)

Dux vs. Robert Brown, Alexander McColl, Larry Baily and Soldier Of Fortune Magazine, Case No: BC198883, Superior Court Of California, Los Angeles County, establishes, as a matter of public record, the substantiating evidence which proves Frank Dux biography true, as follows:

·       Frank Dux has been inducted as a “Living Legend” (e.g. Action Martial Arts Magazine) into numerous internationally accredited, Martial Arts Halls of Fame.  After having fought 329 Full Contact Kumite bouts and setting 16 world records, the majority of which are still standing for over a quarter century.

·       Several of his world records were viewed in person by thousands and via telecast by millions.  Video footage that is still made available for sale by martial arts organizations, via the Internet.

·       Frank Dux retired undefeated after competing in the infamous “Kumite” depicted in the 1988 motion picture release of Bloodsport.

·       Prominent expertise and military experience of a unique nature transformed Frank Dux into a celebrated idol in the world of special operations, as well. Training the secret and elite Ukrainian anti-terror unit bERKYT, as one example.

·       Dux was sponsored by DOD (Department Of Defense) to lecture the NEOA (Narcotics Enforcement Officer’s Association) on covert planning and operations.

·       Dux served as an Adjunct Faculty member of the DOD funded Multi-jurisdictional Counter Drug Task Force, Criminal Justice Institute, St. Petersburg, Florida;.

·       Dux was inducted as a “Knight Chevalier” into the Police Hall of Fame, in Miami, Florida.

·       And, foremost, identified in the manual itself, Frank Dux is credited as being a contributing source utilized for creating the United States Navy’s SEAL CFC Special Warfare Manual: K-431-0097.  His contribution gained from experience of a unique nature, which is relied upon by elite military commando forces throughout the world, still today.

Mr. Dux is an experienced fight choreographer, stunt coordinator, WGA writer and Producer, (whose credits include, Bloodsport, Lionheart, Double-Impact, Only the Strong, The Quest, etc.) However, this has not deterred others from attempting to take credit for these achievements, in spite of the fact that his name appears in the end film credit rolls and on film posters.

In Frank Dux being inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. vision and example to speak out and act against social and government injustice has brought about a similar distinction of extraordinary adversity for Frank Dux, as well.  As can be seen, in the proceeding sub-sections, namely:
SEPERATING FACT FROM FICTION.

STATEMENT AND DECLARATION

I, Rodney Stich, declare:
This Intervenor brief, declaration, and attached exhibit is a request for this court:
* In its sentencing decision, to eliminate any incarceration for defendants Gene and Nancy Tatum. Or:

* Grant to both Defendants, bail on their own recognizance, pending filing and hearing of an appeal, as provided by the Bail Reform Act of 1984 (Title 18 USC Section 1976, 1977).  Further, for this court to:

* Receive evidence of serious criminal activities being perpetrated against the United States. The responsibility of this court to receive under acceptable conditions reports and evidence of these federal crimes arises under the non-discretionary requirements of Title 18 USC Section 4 to provide a proper forum to receive such evidence. This evidence can be provided by the Defendants, primarily Defendant Chip Tatum, to provide in open hearings, testimony and evidence of criminal activities against the United States by federal employees and those acting on their behalf. Defendant Gene Tatum discovered these activities while in the employ of the United States as a military pilot and then as an agent of the Central Intelligence Agency. Evidence of these criminal activities, possessed by Gene Tatum, is related to the decision by Justice Department personnel to charge the defendants with federal offenses, and thereby silence or discredit his disclosure of such crimes.

* The prior refusal of federal personnel, required by law to receive such evidence, made possible the continuation and enlargement of the practices and the infliction of great harm upon individual Americans, upon the nation's national security, and conversion of government offices into criminal enterprises. This includes, for instance, the many airplane crashes due to the safety and criminal violations that Intervenor and other federal investigators sought to report; the expansion of the drug trafficking into the United States by employees of the Central Intelligence Agency, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the military, aided and abetted by others.
* Allow Intervenor, and a number of his former CIA and other deep-cover sources, to also provide evidence of criminal activities to a forum that will not continue the prior coverup and obstruction of justice. The people providing this testimony and evidence should be given protection against retaliation that could be expected from Justice Department employees, and provided with legal assistance to provide the evidence in the most suitable form and to protect the parties from retaliation. National security considerations require that this information be received, and that it be received in open hearings to avoid a coverup. The national interests, and national security, require an open hearing, and that the American public be allowed to hear the testimony and evidence. The history of judicial coverups and obstruction of justice demands that the evidence be provided under these conditions. Defendants have suffered unjust prosecution brought about by:

* Retaliation from government employees, primarily of the Justice Department and the Central Intelligence Agency. Circumstantial evidence suggests that the purpose of the retaliation was to discredit and silence the defendants as to their knowledge of criminal and subversive activities by people in control of the Central Intelligence Agency and those acting in concert with them. The defendants possess knowledge of extremely serious unlawful and even treasonous activities against the United States, being perpetrated, aided and abetted, by federal employees. Defendant Gene Tatum discovered these activities while performing official duties for the U.S. Army (as a helicopter pilot), and as an asset for the Central Intelligence Agency.

* Defendants have provided to Intervenor facts and evidence describing the criminal activities that he witnessed while a helicopter pilot for the U.S. Army and for the Central Intelligence Agency. This information coincides with what Intervenor has discovered, partly as a federal investigator, and then as a private investigator and himself a victim of retaliation and obstruction of justice by employees of the U.S. Department of Justice and people acting on their behalf. Defendants have suffered an unfair jury judgment brought about by:
* Inadequate legal counsel representation, including failure of legal counsel to call witnesses needed by the Defendants for their defense, despite Defendants request to have these witnesses called. Intervenor's experience has shown that court-appointed public defenders will frequently sabotage their client's defenses in highly-sensitive cases where Justice Department prosecutors and Central Intelligence Agency personnel wish to silence or discredit a potential whistleblower. Intervenor has repeatedly observed and discovered that this sabotaging of defendants by court-appointed attorneys is routine.

Intervenor's Qualifications
* Intervenor had been a federal inspector and investigator for the Federal Aviation Administration, during which time he discovered a pattern of criminal activities related to a series of fatal airline crashes. He established the existence of these crash-related misconduct by official government documents and during a four-month-long FAA hearing (EFAA20G). These federal activities were then followed by years of private investigative activities during which his discovery of criminal activities expanded into other areas. To this day, the effects of deeply ingrained corruption within the government of the United States, by federal employees, plays a tragic role in continuing airline crashes.

·       Intervenor seeks to meet his responsibilities under federal criminal statutes (including Title 18 USC Section 4) and as a citizen (under Title 28 USC Section 1361), by reporting these serious criminal activities to a federal tribunal that could reasonably be expected to provide a forum to introduce such evidence, and a means to have the guilty prosecuted and impeached. Intervenor has undertaken various steps to expose, report, and eliminate these criminal activities, and has encountered criminal retaliation from Justice Department employees and federal judges in the Ninth Circuit.

* Intervenor further seeks to reduce the harm inflicted upon two defendants who have been made to suffer in retaliation for refusing to carry out additional wrongful activities for the CIA, and in retaliation for warning that he would expose these wrongful acts. (Defendant Gene Tatum had already sought to report the criminal activities to his superiors in the U.S. Army and the CIA, without success.)

* Starting while he was a federal investigator, Intervenor discovered throughout these many years of investigative work that employees of various divisions of the U.S. Department of Justice blocked the reporting of these crimes, making possible their continuation and enlargement, along with the consequences in preventable airline crashes and deaths, drug trafficking into the United States, and the infliction of other harm upon the security of the United States.

* Intervenor also discovered a pattern in which Justice Department employees/prosecutors fraudulently charged and prosecuted those who were either actively seeking to expose these crimes, or who might do so.

* Intervenor has published highly detailed and documented books seeking to make the American public aware of these serious offenses. These books include the third edition of Unfriendly Skies; the second edition of Defrauding America (to be shortly followed by an enlarged third edition); and Disavow, the story of a CIA proprietary in Hawaii and the Justice Department-CIA prosecution of the head of that operation when the cover was blown. Each of these highly detailed and documented books describe the criminal activities, and the criminal retaliation and obstruction of justice involving employees in control of the United States Department of Justice. A copy of the second edition of Defrauding America is included as Exhibit "A" with this amicus curiae brief, the purpose of which is to show the pattern of criminal and even treasonous activities by employees of the U.S. Department of Justice, the Central Intelligence Agency, and others.

* Intervenor has prepared an entire chapter that has been included in the third edition of Defrauding America that describes the criminal activities that Defendant Gene Tatum discovered while a helicopter pilot for the U.S. Army and for the Central Intelligence Agency. Especially ominous are the involvement of a former U.S. Attorney Generals, members of the White House's National Security Council, and associates of a former president and vice-president in drug smuggling and drug-money laundering, including associates of then-Governor Bill Clinton. The significance of the vast amount of data and evidence accumulated by Intervenor is that federal employees in control of the CIA and Justice Department are inflicting enormous harm upon the United States which can eventually bring down the government as we know it today.

Support For Defendants Disclosures To Intervenor
It is intervenor's belief, based upon many years of investigative experience as a federal and then a private investigator, aided by years of close contact with numerous sources in the CIA and other covert agencies, that Defendant Chip Tatum:

* Served as a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army from approximately 1982 to 1986. In 1986, he was discharged from the U.S. Army, and then performed work for the Central Intelligence Agency after a process known as "sheep-dipping."

* From 1982 to 1986, Defendant Gene Tatum flew as a helicopter pilot, based at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, with occasional temporary duty in Central and South America.

* During his Central America tours he carried many large white coolers from remote areas to paved landing sites, where military pilots in C-130s and civilian pilots in C-123s would take the coolers to Panama. These coolers were fraudulently marked "medical supplies." Tatum accidentally discovered that the "medical supplies" were actually bags of cocaine. He occasionally made notations of these findings on the back of the flight plans filed in flight operations. He also reported these findings to military officers and to the National Security Council's Oliver North while North was operating out of the White House in Washington. He also reported the drug trafficking to Joe Fernandez (CIA), Don Gregg (Vice President George bush's National Security advisor) who, in turn, said he would inform Dewey Clarridge. The significance of this information, supported by other information, is that endemic corruption by people in control of key entities in the United States are inflicting great harm upon the American people and national security.

* During one helicopter trip, Defendant Tatum carried as passengers William Barr (before Barr became attorney general of the United States and head of the U.S. Department of Justice); Felix Rodriguez (aka Max Gomez, an aide to Vice President George Bush); Buddy Young (security advisor to then-governor Bill Clinton). The group then met with General Manuel Noriega (who had been flown to the meeting by Barry Seal in Seal's Learjet). The purpose of the meeting, at which Tatum attended, was to determine where the money from the drug operations into the United States was being siphoned off (i.e. "stolen"). It wasdiscovered that the drug money was being siphoned off on the Panama to Arkansas segment.

* Tatum flew several army helicopter trips from Fort Campbell to Little Rock, Arkansas, with instructions from army and CIA superiors to deliver containers marked "medical supplies" to a Doctor Lasater. "Doctor Lasater" appeared several times, along with a Buddy Young (security aide to then-governor Bill Clinton) to take possession of the containers. The "doctor" title was a sham, as the so-called "doctor" was actually Dan Lasater, a known drug trafficker and business associate of then-governor Bill Clinton and present White House staff member, Patsy Thomasson.

Subsequently President Bill Clinton named Young to head a FEMA division after Clinton became president of the United States. Lasater's top aide was Patsy Thomason, who is now head of administration at the White House under President Bill Clinton.

* After seeking to report these criminal activities to his superiors in the military and the Central Intelligence Agency, and encountering reaction amounting to a coverup, Tatum then notified his handlers that he wanted out of the operation. He was warned that no one leaves the covert operation.
Record of Retaliation Against Former Covert Operatives Or Potential Whistleblowers

* During Intervenor's investigative activities, including while a federal investigator, he discovered that it was standard practice by Department of Justice employees to misuse their office to retaliate against people seeking to report any of the criminal activities described by Intervenor in the attached copy of Defrauding America.

* Intervenor has detailed and documented these findings in his two latest books, Unfriendly Skies (which details the fatal airline crashes associated with corruption that he and other inspectors discovered as part of their official duties), and Defrauding America (which enlarges upon what he initially discovered as a federal inspector and discovered as a private investigator and confidant to many former CIA and other deep-cover whistleblowers). These books were published for the sole purpose of circumventing the massive coverups, obstruction of justice, that have enabled an expansion of the crimes against the United States, and which have inflicted great harm upon national security.

SUMMARY

The immense harm that has already been inflicted upon the security of the United States, upon government institutions, and upon many innocent Americans, is of such enormous gravity that no responsible member of any government entity, including a federal judge, can ignore, without becoming himself or herself implicated.

This amicus curiae filing, therefore, is not only to obtain relief for the Defendants, but for this court to exercise its responsibility and provide for the Defendants, Intervenor, and our former CIA and other deep-cover contacts, to provide evidence of serious criminal activities that are inflicting enormous harm upon the United States and its people.

Attached to Intervenor's declaration and amicus curiae brief is a declaration by Defendant Gene Tatum, describing several of the drug smuggling and drug money laundering activities that he observed as a military pilot and pilot in a CIA operation, and which he reported to his superiors. The reports were followed by a coverup and obstruction of justice, despite the national gravity of the criminal activities.
The Defendants have been victimized in an attempt to silence or discredit them. At the very least, this court should order both of them released on their own recognizance until the termination of appeal and any other remedies that may exist under law.

This declaration is made in the City of Walnut Creek, California, and is true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief. Executed this tenth day of August, 1996.
Dated: August 18, 1996.

DECLARATION OF DOIS GENE TATUM

I, Dois Gene Tatum, declare:
I was a helicopter pilot for the United States Army from 1982 to 1986, during which time I flew missions in Central America and also from Ft Campbell, Kentucky.  From 1986 to 1992 I was an agent for the Central Intelligence Agency, operating under a deep-cover assignment.

During this time I witnessed activities involving high-level U.S. personnel that I felt were unlawful, and I reported these activities to my superiors in the U.S. Army and to my handlers in the Central Intelligence Agency, to the National Security Council, and to various individuals, including William Barr, Oliver North, George Bush.

Among these activities were rampant drug smuggling into the United States involving people in control of the Central Intelligence Agency, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the armed forces of the United States, among others.

I have documented some of these activities on military flight plans, showing as passengers on certain flights, the following: William Barr; Buddy Young; Felix Rodriguez; Oliver North; Joe Fernandez; Manuel Noriega, and Mike Harari.

I have visited cocaine laboratories with the above people, who were inspecting the drug smuggling operations in Central America.

I have documented on some of these military flight plans the nature of the cargo being carried in white coolers that were fraudulently marked as "medical supplies," which I accidentally discovered to be cocaine.

During one flight and related meeting, I was present while there were discussions as to where drug money was being siphoned on the Panama to Arkansas run. Present at this meeting were Manuel Noriega; William Barr (associated with CIA proprietary Southern Air Transport and later attorney general of the United States); Joe Fernandez; Mike Harari; General Gustavo Alverez. Participating in this meeting via satellite telephone was Vice President George bush, Oliver North, and William Jefferson Clinton, then governor of Arkansas.

I had reported these illegal operations to my superiors, including William Barr; Oliver North; George Bush; Felix Rodriguez; Joe Fernandez; Don Gregg; Dewey Clarridge.

After I refused to perform a mission that I felt were beyond my willingness to execute, I notified my handlers that I wanted out of the operation, which at that time was known as Operation Pegasus. Their response was to warn me that no one leaves the operation.

I declare under penalty of perjury that the above facts are true and correct to the best of my knowledge and belief. Executed this 15th day of August 1996 in the County of Hillsborough, State of Florida.

Chip Tatum On Iran Contra/LA Times

Doyle McManus, William Rimpel, and Dan Morain can look forward to a rewarding Christmas this year.
With the recent exposure of the CIA's involvement in drug trafficking as reported by the San Jose Mercury News, the article by the Company's new spin doctors was written at an opportune time. Yes, Deutch has definitely added these three journalists names to his gift list.
